SWK Technologies is a Strategic Hosting Provider for the Sage Partner Cloud (SPC), a program designed to give Sage ERP users an easier path for migrating to a cloud-based environment. Customers who have purchased Sage 100 or Sage 300 on-premises have multiple options through the SPC Program to host their software in a private cloud through a certified Sage VAR (value-added reseller) that has experience working in a secure cloud environment, such as SWK.
SPC Program Options:
- Option 1: Using the Sage Provisioning Portal (SPP) to host your ERP through a third-party service on Microsoft Azure or AWS (Amazon Web Services) with a separate subscription
- Option 2: Using the accredited cloud platform of a Strategic Hosting Provider, such as SWK Technologies
What the Sage Partner Cloud Does for You
Sage 100 and Sage 300 are built as on-premise ERP, and while the Sage Business Cloud launch enabled all of these solutions to become “cloud-connected,” they still live in legacy architecture. To be able to host their data and components – including ISV (independent software vendor) integrations – in a cloud environment, the cloud service provider (CSP) must be able to handle their unique requirements.
As a Strategic Hosting Provider, SWK is able to help both Sage ERP users and Sage Partners with customers on Sage 100 or Sage 300 migrate to a cloud environment of their choice, either in Azure or SWK’s accredited cloud platform. Both options meet the security compliance standards established by Sage Group plc for the Sage Partner Cloud Program.
For Sage 100 & Sage 300 Users
- Option 1: Your Sage Business Partner works with the certified Microsoft Azure CSP to migrate your Sage and ISV data and applications to a hosted Azure environment which can be accessed through the Sage Provisioning Portal
- Option 2: If your Sage Business Partner is not a Strategic Hosting Provider, then your Partner works with your Provider to migrate your applications to their accredited cloud platform
For Sage Partners
- Option 1: Your Sage Business Partner works with the certified Microsoft Azure CSP to migrate your Sage and ISV data and applications to a hosted Azure environment which can be accessed through the Sage Provisioning Portal
- Option 2: If your Sage Business Partner is not a Strategic Hosting Provider, then your Partner works with your Provider to migrate your applications to their accredited cloud platform

Sage 100cloud vs. Sage 100 Cloud Hosting
With the launch of Sage Business Cloud in 2017, Sage Group plc upgraded newer versions of Sage 100 (renamed Sage 100c and later Sage 100cloud) with “cloud connectivity,” meaning that though it would remain an on-premise system it would be able to integrate with external SaaS solutions.
Sage 100 users who do not wish to migrate to Sage 100cloud have the option to migrate their ERP to a hosted environment, either through the Sage Partner Cloud or a CSP that specializes in Sage software.
