SWK Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce today’s release of Point of Sale Professional (POS) version 4.5.
An effective POS system can be invaluable. SWK’s new system makes sales processes simpler and can improve overall business management.
Now that it is integrated with version 4.5 of Sage 100 ERP, SWK’s POS software handles sales, inventory management and customer tracking — as well as all business accounting requirements including reporting — in a single interface.
New features include:
- Written in the current architecture of Sage 100 ERP
- Windows 7 compatible
- Sage Exchange compatible
- New functionality includes dual grid entry, inventory expanded items, expanded customer numbers and screen personalization
- Consolidated payment processing from within POS or Sage 100 ERP
- Accessible from mobile devices or a virtual terminal
- Flexible security
- Access data with just a few clicks
SWK continuously strives to exceed customer expectations and implement innovative technologies. We will continue to add new features to the product, bringing an unprecedented level of control to our POS customers.
SWK’s POS underwent extensive pre-release testing. Through that process, we have resolved all identified issues that would have hindered today’s release of the product. We will continue to work over the coming days and weeks on a few minor outstanding items, a normal condition after adding so much functionality to the product. It is important to note that none of these items are “show-stoppers” for our customers. To ensure understanding of these remaining issues and their resolutions upfront, we request that our customers and partners download the product’s ReadMe file prior to installation.
