HR Actions is a module available in Sage HRMS that helps you create and manage electronic forms, including imported third-party PDFs, directly in your Sage human resource and payroll software. It allows you to set up automated data retrieval and population when information is mapped to certain fields, among other streamlined workflows for HR administrators.
Recent updates for HR Actions added the ability to automatically extract information from your database and fill in corresponding fields in a designated PDF import. This article by SWK Technologies will walk you through all the steps and requirements for taking advantage of this new feature:
Sage HRMS HR Actions – Fillable PDFs
In the most recent version of HR Actions (21.1.22), the Form Catalog includes an example form titled “Fillable PDF Sample.” Grant Access to use the example form to see how it works.
HR Actions can now populate fillable PDFs (i.e., third-party PDF forms) using data captured within an Action. Once the Action fields are populated, a PDF can be generated using the Generate PDF button in the upper right corner of the form.
The filled-in PDF will display in a new tab within the web browser, and will be available as a file attachment in the action.
Sage HRMS HR Analytics Subscription
This feature does require an Active subscription to HR Analytics and will also require your Sage value-added reseller (VAR) and their support team to map and add your third-party fillable PDF for a nominal charge.
