Are you running Sage ERP X3 Electronic Document Management?
You requested improvements, and Sage listened: Sage ERP X3 EDM has a new update, called Sage ERP X3 EDM Service Pack (Release 10). This update will provide you with minor enhancements and bug fixes for these three solutions:
- Electronic Document Management (EDM)
- Electronic Document Delivery (EDD)
- Purchase Invoice Automation (PIA)
If you have installed Sage ERP X3 EDM, you should review the Release Notes to determine if you want to apply this service pack, but in most cases, downloading this update is the right choice for your business.

This product update for Sage ERP X3, along with the release notes, is available for download by following these steps:
- Go to na.sage.com
- Select Logon (Sign Up) on the top right of the page
- Enter Username and Password in the Customer Portal Logon section
- Click Logon

What is Sage ERP X3 EDM?
If you don’t have the Electronic Document Management (EDM) solution for Sage ERP X3, you’re probably pretty confused by this post. EDM is a paperless office solution for your X3 system, which allows you to green your business by cutting your reliance on paper documents. This solution enables you to store, generate, and deliver your documents electronically–and it also allows you to capture your emails and paper documents so that you can finally get rid of physical documents.
EDM’s tightly integrated optical character recognition (OCR) feature recognizes the writing on your scanned-in papers, so that you can perform accurate searches using the contents of your electronic files, in addition to the titles. Here’s a video that demos EDM, so that you can learn more.
