Microsoft Dynamics SL Support Ending Soon
Starting on January 9th, 2024, Microsoft will cease to provide mainstream support for Microsoft Dynamics SL 2018 (the last significant upgrade to the program). However, this does not mean the software will no longer be usable if it is already installed, only that there will be no more updates, service packs, builds, fixes, or patches for functionality problems for the foreseeable future. This has already been in effect for older versions, such as the 2015 and 2011 builds. Essentially, Microsoft will no longer give any updates to fix any functional difficulties that may arise if your software fails, nor will it address any security vulnerabilities that may place your company’s data in jeopardy.
