Ben Davis, Owner & Brewmaster at Intuition Ale Works in Jacksonville FL, selected BeerRun as their brewery management solution in early 2012 after consulting with Chris Farmand & Company, a local CPA firm.
Chris suggested several key “thought points” to consider for managing a craft brewery, including implementing sound back-office procedures — particularly an accounting system that will meet Intuition’s needs, as well as brewery management software.
After selecting their accounting package and considering the available options for managing the production side of the brewery, Ben and Chris chose BeerRun. The software manages all aspects of brewing operations, is web-hosted and also integrates nicely with popular accounting systems — all of which were key factors in their selection process.
“We looked at two different programs that are designed for brewery management, and we ended up choosing BeerRun software,” Ben noted. “It was more our speed, and the other main program on the market was far more expensive and a lot more complex than we needed.”
