Sage 100 2019Many of the enhancements in the new release of Sage 100 version 2019 are focused on the Production Management module, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t something new and wonderful for every user.  Sage 100 is still a powerful accounting tool, and a particularly nice feature was added to the general ledger account number field – auto-complete.

Any general ledger account number field allows the user to type the account description instead of the account number.  A list is presented with all the descriptions that contain the characters entered.  Use the down arrow or a mouse click to make your selection.

This feature is automatically turned on when you upgrade to version 2019.  However, before the list can be enabled, the Build Search Index utility found in Library Master must be run.  For users that do not like this new search feature, it can be turned off in User Maintenance.
