Companies at any stage in their lifespan could use a revamp to their operations, even those that have been around for decades. A well-established office and educational supplies distributor, founded in 1996, has built a strong reputation revolving around an expansive inventory and personalized customer service. Serving both educational institutions and businesses nationwide, this distributor offers everything from office furniture and technology to classroom supplies and sports equipment.

Even with thousands of products in their catalog, the company ensures each customer receives high-quality products and attentive service. However, as the business expanded, certain operational inefficiencies came into the spotlight. The company noticed these inefficiencies were especially around handling high-volume orders and maintaining system connectivity.

Additionally, SWK incorporated AP document recognition to automate accounts payable processes, reducing errors in billing and freeing the accounting team to focus on strategic activities.
