People often ask us why we developed BeerRun and BrewX, our Craft Brewing software solutions.
Our usual answer is that Andy Nunez, our Executive VP of Sales & Marketing, has a keen eye for vertical market opportunities. He recognized that there’s a distinct need among Craft Brewers — and that SWK Technologies is uniquely qualified to address it. So he created our Craft Brewing solutions team in 2011 and it has been full speed ahead ever since.
We have to admit, however, that there’s a deeper motive. We’ve tried our best to keep it a closely-guarded secret. But this evening the Discovery Channel is airing a documentary that will let the genie out of the bottle.
So it’s time to come clean: Beer saved the world. And being the good global citizens that we are, well, SWK just had to get involved.
It’s true! Beer has saved human civilization many times and in many ways throughout history. In fact, it continues doing so today. Don’t take our word for it:
We stuck with our cover story as long as we could, but our noble side got the best of us, OK? Wow, it’s such a relief to get that off our collective chest. And now we must get back to work.
