Consultant/Implementation Specialist – NetSuite

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Software Consultant / Implementation Specialist. Come and join one of the most successful consulting practices in the country. Our client base is expanding and we need NetSuite professionals who would like to belong to a winning and supportive team!

We are looking for someone with:

  • Working knowledge of NetSuite business software and the product framework and requirements
  • NetSuite certifications are desired but not required
  • 2 plus years’ experience in implementation, training and providing client support within the ERP environment.
  • Project management experience in utilizing appropriate tools and resources to document processes, timelines and responsibilities is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills with detailed follow-up on assigned tasks and responsibilities to timeline.
  • The ability to provide knowledgeable phone, on-line, and on-site consulting services for our clients using NetSuite software.
  • Experience with project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, business process mapping and end-to-end process experience required.
  • Understanding of operational processes and requirements in the ERP world, including but not limited to distribution and/or manufacturing with a functional competency in accounting, shop floor, quote to cash, procure to play, operations, ecommerce or CRM functions highly desired.

Essential Job Duties

  • Plan and perform NetSuite software implementations at client’s workplace within the scope of the job.
  • Assist clients, through advisory services like business process reviews, systems selections, and IT planning, in determining which business processes can and should be automated and how these automated functions may be integrated into the rest of the business and technical environment.
  • Assisting clients in managing job expectations and timeline requirements.
  • Effectively present information and respond to groups of managers as well as provide onsite training for client’s personnel
  • Test for compatibility and proper function of applications including third party software products. (FRx, Crystal Reports).
  • Perform the underlying analysis and prepare functional and detailed design specifications for extensions, integrations, and/or customizations.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to resolve implementation issues and help client set standards for software functionality.
  • Interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in written and verbal form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
  • Serve as Software Instructor, if qualified and as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

This position requires the ability to analyze business processes problems within client systems. This individual must be capable of drawing independent conclusions leading to successful problem solving techniques. The position requires continuous exercise of discretion and independent judgment based upon the special skills and knowledge required.
Must possess valid driver’s license and company required vehicle insurance and the ability to travel nationwide.

REQUIREMENTS:

Sage ERP X3 Customer Support Representative

Summary: The Customer Support Representative is responsible for answering incoming customer inquiries and then investigating, analyzing, and resolving a wide variety of highly complex technical, workflow, and systems related issues. Additionally, the Customer Support Representative researches complex back-line and “in progress” cases (e.g. testing unresolved issues, researching, following up on cases, etc.) and engages in team-based project work.

Essential Duties

  • Answers incoming inquiries via telephone and/or written, Internet-based (email) sessions in a support center environment, according to scheduled shifts, in order to meet business needs.
  • Independently handles all types of concerns or issues.
  • Identifies the root cause of the client’s software or system issues and uses system analysis and testing techniques to solve highly complex application, system, or hardware issues.
  • May seek guidance or advice from peers or senior analysts as needed.
  • Researches and responds to in-progress and back-line cases when not scheduled for inbound shifts.
  • Works with software vendor support staff to escalate issues and research software bugs (Sage, NetSuite, Acumatica, etc.).
  • Places outbound calls or emails to clients to follow up on and resolve escalated or in-progress cases.
  • May also respond to inquiries or complaints from customers by researching unique situations and developing new or unique approaches or work-arounds to resolve client issues.
  • Submits knowledge articles for publishing in the knowledge base, according to established procedures and policies.
  • Consistently produces clear, detailed, and high quality written documentation of client contacts related to software problems and related network, hardware, operating system, and/or workflow issues, according to established guidelines. May also review documentation prepared by others.
  • Actively works to stay current on technical knowledge in all assigned applications, as well as in support processes and procedures.
  • Promotes and supports SWK’s company philosophy and principles on a daily basis.
  • Works collaboratively and effectively within a team of peers.
  • Protects company information, both proprietary and confidential.

Required Qualifications

  • Six months to two years of experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas required: accounting, networking, operating systems, estimating, project management, or technical support.
  • Experience with the appropriate software product.
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of clients in tense, pressure-filled, or somewhat adversarial situations as a problem solver.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and to make decisions without definitive guidance or direction.
  • Ability to work in a structured support center environment while effectively self-managing work time. Ensures work is completed efficiently, with quality and within department performance metrics.
  • Ability to step through a linear analysis of complex technical issues and identify problems / suggest solutions in a logical manner.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to actively listen and ask meaningful probing questions, and break complex business processes into simplified steps.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical knowledge, including advanced information about operating systems and appropriate software products within scheduled periods.
  • Ability to work within defined policies and procedures, using standardized tools and technology to perform job functions.
  • Very strong verbal and listening communication skills, including excellent writing skills: grammar, spelling, sentence structure, etc.
  • Ability to effectively work within cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to effectively identify and partner with stakeholders and internal service providers to aid in the resolution of conflicts.
  • Ability to respond effectively to multiple conflicting priorities, continuously prioritize and reprioritize deliverables, and to respond to unexpected changes in a positive manner.

Sage ERP X3 Developer/ Programmer

We are looking for someone with:

  • 2-5 years hands-on experience with development/programming of Sage ERP X3 or other 4GL platform desired
  • Ability to create detailed technical specifications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to work independently or in a team environment to meet deadlines
  • Positive, self-directed, and self-motivated attitude
  • Experience with 4GL, SQL, .net, and Crystal Reports is preferable
  • Sage ERP X3 certifications are a plus

Essential Job Duties

  • Create technical specifications for custom programs based on functional specifications/client needs
  • Provide and work to accurate estimates of development time for customer proposals
  • Write custom programs in Visual Basic, VB.net, Java, C#, Sage SAFE X3 4GL development tool, MS SQL Server, and/or Oracle
  • Modify existing programs to enhance functionality and transactional workflow
  • Write MS SQL Server Stored Procedures, Views, and Triggers
  • Write custom reports in Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), pulling data from MS SQL Server or Oracle databases
  • Use SQL Queries and SQL DTS Utilities to extract data from SQL databases or write data to SQL databases
  • Conduct QA testing on customizations
  • Install programs at client site
