At one point or another, I am sure you have received the ubiquitous “Top Ten Reasons...” solicitation email. You know, Top Ten Reasons to Buy This or That. It first started in the late 80’s when some junior marketing staffer had a last minute entry to the “We need some fresh ideas!” meeting at “YouNameIt Marketing Corp”. A clear knock-off of the Late Night with David Letterman skit, it unfortunately stuck.
