Transaction Link – Document Capture Solution for Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200

Regulating and monitoring receivable transactions is one of the most common functions required of accounting software. It’s also one of the most paper intensive tasks. A partnership between Ricoh Americas Corporation and SWK Technologies has the capacity to minimize paper pushing while boosting accuracy and accountability.

Transaction Link helps accelerate critical business processes in transaction-intensive environments—making it easier to identify and retrieve all the documents associated with a specific transaction, without manually pulling paper from folders. Transaction Link, an integrated solution for Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 ERP users, combines the document scanning systems from Ricoh Americas Corporation with the application integration talents of SWK Technologies to provide a document management solution that is at once powerful and easy to use.

Scan and Store
With Transaction Link, users scan supporting documents, such as customer purchase orders or packing lists, at a Ricoh MFP (multi-function product), associate the documents with a specific transaction type, and link the documents within their Sage MAS 90 or Sage MAS 200 accounting software. Users can search, retrieve, and route these scanned files easily and efficiently. Transaction Link establishes a secure and reliable process to link paper files to the accounting software, eliminating the need for manual filing and retrieval of supporting documents.

Route and Manage
An efficient document capture and storage solution like Transaction Link can help boost compliance with regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley. Additional related capabilities include: categorizing documents by transaction type (such as customer, proposals, purchase orders, invoices or receipts) prior to scanning, converting scanned documents to PDF files, accessing scanned documents from a desktop computer with a metadata-driven search engine, and supporting internal and external audits.

Transaction Link current supports document associations with Accounts Receivable and Sales Order transactions.
