Jeffrey Roth • Chief Executive Officer
Jeff Roth leads SWK Technologies Inc., a multi-state business application and consulting company providing strategies and solutions to meet client information and business management needs. SWK continually asks its clients for honest, measurable feedback — and time and time again, we win more business based on an unparalleled service model that truly differentiates us from our competition. Jeff is actively involved in many business and accounting-related organizations, including the Inc. (Magazine) Business Owners’ Council, Sage Leadership Association, Sage’s Business Partner Advisory Council (BPAC), the American Business Associates (high-level networking firm based in Fairfield NJ) and a NJ-based CEO Forum that Jeff leads. He also serves as a trustee and was a past president of Temple B’nai Abraham in Livingston NJ. Jeff is married with three children, lives in nearby Cedar Knolls NJ, and enjoys golf and bike-riding in the hills of northern New Jersey. Paul Frydman • Chief Operating Officer
Paul Frydman oversees SWK’s entire consulting practice, including client care, development, project management and implementation. Previously, he was the consulting manager for NexTec Group’s New York Metro office. Paul has more than 15 years’ experience in the design, implementation, installation and integration of business management systems with a wide variety of consulting organizations. He is certified in all areas of MAS 500 and spent four years running the Microsoft Dynamics GP practice at American Express Tax & Business Services (now RSM McGladrey).

Andrew Nunez • Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Andy Nunez is an industry leader with broad operational and sales experience with Sage and Microsoft products and services. His middle market business management software expertise spans almost two decades, including ten years establishing and building the successful East Coast offices for NexTec Group. Andy also has significant experience as a Senior Project Manager for various ERP implementations. He runs sales and marketing and delivery of the entire SWK portfolio including Direct, Channel & SaaS. During Andy's time at SWK, he has built a team that has driven Top Line Revenue from $7M to $13M in organic grown annually. In that time, he has also overseen the creation of an Enterprise level solution practice with Sage ERP X3. Today, that practice contributes almost $2.5M to SWK's revenue. Andy has served on many advisory panels and focus groups for both Sage Software and Microsoft Business Solutions. Previously, he was the Executive Director for a non-profit Educational Foundation and is currently a Trustee of the same Foundation’s International Board. Andy earned his BA from the University of Texas and is involved in many civic and non-profit organizations in his home area of Hudson Valley NY.

Amy Knust • Senior Vice President of Sales
Amy Knust is directly responsible for managing the sales team for the Sage portfolio, focusing on supporting SWK’s growth through the development of its sales team and expanding its geographic distribution into the Midwest. With over 20 years of industry experience, she has a broad range of expertise in ERP systems and is certified in Sage 100, Sage 500 and Sage ERP X3. Amy’s management experience includes supervising professional consulting teams as well as overall responsibility for business development and practice management. Previously, she worked as a Senior Managing Consultant for a top 10 CPA and advisory firm with responsibility for practice management of their Sage division. Amy is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Microsoft Certified Professional, and earned her BA in Business Administration at the University of Nebraska. She has served as treasurer for the Nebraska Diplomats and is involved in numerous other non-profit organizations in Lincoln NE. In her spare time, Amy enjoys traveling with her family and is an avid reader.

Gary Berman, CPA.CITP • Executive Vice President of MAPADOC EDI Services
Gary Berman supports and directs SWK’s Electronic Data Interchange engagements by supervising workflow, employee tasks, client expectations and product development. He consults with clients regularly on software implementation, technical support, training and documentation. A MAS 90/200 Certified Consultant, Gary helped form SWK and has held several positions including owner, principal and CFO. He has managed all aspects of the company, with a primary focus on EDI since 1999. Previously, Gary worked in accounting, auditing and management information services with Wiss & Company LLC, and was Controller and Manager of Information Systems for The Lilli Group. He earned his BA in Science & Commerce from Rider University and is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Certified Information Technology Professional through the AICPA.

Crandall Melvin III • Chief Financial Officer
Chip Melvin joined SWK in 2006. Previously, he was an Owner and Chief Operating Officer of AMP-Best Consulting Inc., and was associated with automotive, aviation, and construction industries in both private and public accounting. He earned his BA in Political Science from the University of Southern California and his MBA from Syracuse University.

Matthew Hahn • Vice President of Network Services
Matt Hahn works with clients to implement efficient security, networks, backup and disaster recovery operations, and related technologies. He is highly regarded for his perseverance in directing clients to innovative processes and enabling their company’s systems to produce quantitative results.

Michelle Paparo, CPA • Vice President of Sage 100 ERP & Sage 500 ERP
Michelle Paparo oversees the SWK help desk and manages the upgrade and small project process. Previously, she was a partner at AMP-Best Consulting Inc, a Senior Manager at DM Systems Inc. and a Senior Accountant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Michelle earned her BS in Accounting & Management Information Studies from Clarkson University. Her time outside of work is spent volunteering on the Administration and Audit & Finance Committees, and as a lector, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Syracuse. Michelle is also a member of the Young CPA committee, assisting in local fund drives for community charities and presenting at local CPA conferences. In 2003, she was named one of 20 Women in Business in Central New York for her professional success and community involvement.

Lori Boarman • Director of Sage ERP X3
Lori Boarman manages the Sage ERP X3 services group. She has over 7 years of experience working with Sage ERP X3 and is certified in the Manufacturing, Distribution, Finance and Technical modules. Prior to her career in consulting, she was a controller at Ameriqual Foods and has over 18 years of management experience in finance. She received her BS in Accounting from the University of Evansville, located in Evansville, Indiana. It was there where she served on the board of directors for the local IMA chapter. Lori now resides in Louisville, Kentucky, and outside of work, volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and enjoys golfing.

Alex Nastashkin • Vice President of Installed Base & Support Services
Alex Nastashkin is responsible for overall client management as it relates to sales and support. His focus is ensuring that SWK clients are consistently provided with high-quality and reliable service. Since joining the company in 2002 as an account executive, Alex has been hands-on with the client base, helping identify and meet their needs. Prior to his current position, he was the director of marketing. Alex earned his BA in Business Management & Marketing from CSI in New York. Outside of work, he donates his time to JDRF events as well as to the YMCA, and coaches Little League Baseball.

Brian Dunn • Director of Marketing
Brian Dunn joined SWK in 2012. Previously, he held multiple positions at HighTower Inc. (another Sage reseller), was a partner at Horizons Investments LLC and Vice President of Management Information Systems at Jonel Inc. Brian is currently a certified SalesLogix Implementation Consultant, SageCRM Implemenation Consultant and Sage Employer Solutions Technical Consultant; and he has previously been certified in Sage MAS 90 Programming Standards. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional for SQL, Internet Information Services (IIS) and Vista, and he has earned the Computer Technology Industry Association A+ certification for computer service technicians. Brian earned his BA in Chemistry from Grinnell College and his MBA in Marketing & Strategic Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He runs and bikes in his spare time, and is an electronic musician.

Kathleen Weiss, SPHR • Manager of Human Resources
Kathleen Weiss earned the designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute, and has more than 18 years’ experience in HR and management positions. Her expertise includes performance management, compensation, state and federal compliance, employee relations, hiring and termination issues, and employee handbooks. Kathleen is member of the Society of Human Resources Management, Morris County SHRM Chapter, NJ Organization Development Network, New Jersey HR Networking Group, iCouldbe.org, New Jersey Compensation Association, New Jersey Department of Labor Employers Committee, Human Capital Institute, New Jersey Business & Industry HR Policy Committee, and Gibbs College Advisory Board. She has also completed the United Way certified mentorship program.
